Raw Material Thermal Analysis

Air Control Techniques, P.C. analyzes raw feed materials such as limestone, mill scale, magnetite, ash, shale, and soil using a specially-design reactor that simulates the gas temperatures and gas oxygen concentrations of the full scale industrial facility. These tests provide a cost effective method for screening and identifying sources of emissions including the following.

• Volatile organic compounds
  
• Dioxin-furans
  
• Speciated HAPs
  (e.g. formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, styrene, m, p, o-xylene, acetaldehyde, and naphthalene)

The data are valuable for maintaining compliance with the cement MACT. Raw materials analysis is also helpful for identifying contaminants contributing to secondary plume formation.
