Ambient Monitoring Studies - National Stone, Sand and Gravel Assocation Stone Crushing Plants PDF Print E-mail
Air Control Techniques, P.C. conducted three studies to measure the incremental impact of stone crushing plants on ambient levels of PM2.5 particulate matter. Air Control Techniques, P.C. believes that these studies were the first non-EPA conducted studies of PM2.5 particulate matter using ambient monitors that meet the specifications of the recently promulgated Part 50, Appendix L requirements. The results of the first of these studies was summarized in an article printed in the March 1998 issue of Aggregates Manager. Results of the second and third studies were published in Environmental Manager in 1999.
