Air Fabric Filter at a Cement Kiln Air Control Techniques, P.C.
developed and applied sampling techniques to adapt EPA Method 5D for
dioxin-furan and filterable particulate testing on a set of reverse air
fabric filters that the state and another testing firm had classified
as "un-testable." The procedures did not require expensive
modifications on the part of the source operator. Air Control
Techniques, P.C. negotiated with EPA's headquarters office concerning
the changes necessary to obtain accurate emissions tests. The tests
were successfully completed.
