Air Control Techniques, P.C. conducted a preliminary design study and a
series of bench scale filtration tests to evaluate the economical
feasibility of applying recently developed high temperature filtration
media to an industrial boiler. Air Control Techniques, P.C. identified
the appropriate high temperature media, compiled budgetary cost
estimates, and conducted field studies. The scope of the testing
included static pressure drop levels, cake release properties, and
particulate matter removal efficiencies at 1000°F.
